    Start-up, Testing & commissioning

I'm that guy who jumped into the field installing ductwork systems as a Sheet Metal Installer, and later on delved deeper into the design side of things.

Installing and setting up numerous HVAC systems led me to eventually mind on how those new systems actually meet the clients’ expectations.

Although I don't see myself as a service guy, it is undeniable that my profound understanding of DDC and electrical diagrams has allowed me to commission complete control systems.

My growth in the field naturally led me into team leadership, where coordinating manpower, keeping the workflow organized, and ensuring quality execution became a key part of how I contribute to a project.

    Advertising & Brand strategy

The implementation of my skills as an audiovisual editor and writer led me to constant experimentation, seeking to perfect the transmission of ideas to my audience in the most effective way possible. We all have something to say, and there will always be someone interested in listening. However, in an ultra- competitive world like this, capturing the audience's attention is a valuable resource that needs to be found and exploited. My entrepreneurial personality has always motivated me to strive for excellence and differentiation in order to bring value to what I do, and this website is the result of that. In my current position as HVAC installer, 1 identified a need while listening to superiors discussing the possibility of an expansion into the residential market. I crafted a project proposal to enhance the brand identity through its website, incorporating new features and styles that would allow the business to stand out from the competition and provide value to the customer. Although the proposal was declined, far from being demotivated, I shifted my focus towards project management.

    Software competent

My previous field of work as a content creator for blogs and writer of video game design documents (GDD) revolved around word processors, spreadsheets, and slide presentation software. This means that I've extensive proficiency in Microsoft's Office 365 suite, with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at the forefront. As a project manager in training, I am also gradually delving into the collaborative work tool Microsoft Teams and Planner due to their synergy with these applications. In the HVAC and construction industry, I feel inclined to drive digital transformations within the organization to optimize workflow. FieldWire, for example, is a great candidate.

    Electronics hobbyist

As a teenager, I took computers very seriously, and it became almost an obsession for me to constantly upgrade the components of my chassis: motherboard and CPU, RAM cards, SATA connectors for hard drives, power supply for cooling system, lights, network and GPU cards... everything was done and undone with each "gamer setup" upgrade. The maintenance, which involved replacing thermal paste and cleaning dust from grilles and heat sinks, was a part of the process that culminated in black (or blue) BIOS screens with me tweaking voltages to achieve the maximum performance. I never thought that this past hobby would be useful in my professional career, but upon analyzing the work performed by an HVAC service technician, I dare say that I wouldn't be scared at all to deal with tight spaces filled with wiring and components.

    E-mail writing & Typing

Given my proactive nature, in my previous jobs I would constantly write emails to pitch new article headlines and suggest edits. Immediately after implementing Dr. Jay A. Conger's techniques of positive influence in my proposal emails, I received quicker responses and a higher approval rate. Additionally, I set out to acquire typing skills in the DVORAK layout to make my daily tasks easier, and today I boast nothing less than 70 words per minute. I am very aware of the role of email as a communication tool within a company, which is why I use my own personalized domain - contact@henrrychrodriguezdiaz.com- in Microsoft Outlook

    UX designer & Editor

Previously, I have worked superficially with Adobe Premiere Pro CC and to a greater extent with other smaller video editors such as Lightricks Videoleap, that are more aligned with my needs. The same applies to photo & PDF editing, using for this purpose simple yet powerful programs like Canvas and Photofox. The artistic lessons from YouTuber Rubén Guo on his channel sparked my interest in creating and editing audiovisual content time ago. I also have experience in handling block-based website editors such as GoDaddy and Wix. In general terms, although I do not consider myself an expert in the field, I feel comfortable with these activities, which I put them into practice when I want to convey an effective message in my slide presentations or in blog and social media posts.. As a side note, all the audiovisual materials on this site were created and edited by me.

    Meet the guy outside work

Hello, my name is Henrrych. I'm a 26 years old, and I'm driven by the ambition to carve out my own path in life. When I made the decision to move to the U.S, I left behind all my teenage projects and dreams to focus on my professional future. Ever since, I eat comfort zones for breakfast.

What defines me in 7 points...

    Emotional Intelligence

    Emotional Intelligence

    Emotional Intelligence

Daniel Goleman has been a major influence on my professional development, both as a writer and researcher. His books Emotional Intelligence and Focus significantly shaped the way I approach challenges and interact with others. As a result, I have strengthened key soft skills such as active listening, self-motivation, empathy, and composure under pressure, all of which help me communicate effectively, adapt to demanding situations, and work productively with others.

    Organized

    Emotional Intelligence

    Emotional Intelligence

“If given six hours to chop down a tree, I would spend the first four sharpening the axe.” This quote, attributed to Abraham Lincoln, reflects my approach to work. I place great value on planning, preparation, and clear communication to ensure quality results. Whether dealing with unexpected last-minute changes or foreseeable setbacks that can delay progress, I rely on organization and adaptability to keep the project moving efficiently. For me, being organized means thinking ahead, aligning resources and expectations, and creating the conditions for successful execution.

    Leader

    Emotional Intelligence

    Flexible

I consider myself someone who is always willing to take on responsibility, which is why supervisors have often trusted me to oversee critical tasks. That level of commitment has sometimes created friction with coworkers who may not immediately understand that, in certain situations, I am the person accountable for the proper execution of the work. To me, leadership means stepping forward when responsibility is required, maintaining clear direction, and ensuring that the team stays focused on achieving the project’s goals safely and effectively.

    Flexible

    Emotional Intelligence

    Flexible

I consistently push myself beyond my comfort zone at work. Rather than seeing the unknown as a source of frustration, I view it as an opportunity to gain new professional experience and expand my perspective. My commitment to being a valuable team member, combined with my ability to learn quickly, has allowed me to contribute to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities beyond my primary role. For me, flexibility means adapting quickly, embracing new challenges, and adding value wherever the project requires it.

    Creative

    Motivated learner

    Motivated learner

Throughout my previous experience, I have developed a broad range of audiovisual and written materials for diverse purposes, including logo design, vector graphics, PowerPoint presentations to support pitches, political opinion pieces, and video game project proposals. These experiences have significantly shaped my professional perspective and enhanced my ability to think creatively across different contexts. I view creativity not only as a form of expression, but also as a practical tool for problem-solving, effective communication, and generating ideas that bring value to a project.

    Motivated learner

    Motivated learner

    Motivated learner

I have a natural passion for continuous learning and self-improvement. I am constantly looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge through online courses, specialized reading, and independent research. This mindset has led me to invest my time in project management training, HVAC certifications relevant to the industry, and other professional development opportunities that enhance both my technical capabilities and my overall value as a team member. I see enthusiasm as the drive to keep learning, improving, and bringing more to every role I take on.

    Integrity

    Motivated learner

    Integrity

As a numbers-driven and results-oriented professional, I hold myself to high standards of quality, accountability, and timeliness. I have little tolerance for irresponsibility or informality when they interfere with safety, efficiency, or the proper execution of the work. I am willing to raise concerns whenever jobsite conditions, equipment, or decisions fall short of what the project requires, whether that involves missing basic provisions, inadequate access equipment, or other preventable issues. To me, integrity means standing by professional standards, addressing issues honestly, and protecting the quality of the work from start to finish.
